Double Joy

I have for months and I mean months been trying to get my newsletter off the ground. I attended two professional social media courses, but no luck. Every time I went to send my newsletter, Mail Chimp, told me no. I had issues to resolve. I contacted them but the issue never got resolved. I really wanted to have it up before my book came out on March 7th this year.
So after a lot of heartbreak and frustration all on my part, I was about to give up and give in.

Then I met, Emma.

She is a busy woman with family and work to attend to but she also gives time to anyone who needs help. Emma saw no problem in giving me some of her precious time to help me. She is the person who got me up and running with my newsletter and I am so very grateful to her.
Another lady, Lisa offered her assistance too when she heard of my dilemma. Honestly folks, aren't true friends amazing. I am so very blessed in life.
I met Emma through the Inspiration Project, I attended in Wexford in January this year. Over a chat she offered to help and help she did. Lisa, I got to know through another friend and again, she offered to check out my newsletter problem.

If you are blessed to have friends like, Emma and Lisa, then you are very lucky in this life indeed.

Almost There, One More Sleep

With what has been a very tough emotional week, a close family member is very ill, it is wonderful to see it brighten today. There is an article about me in today's paper and people are so nice coming up to me and congratulating me on my novel, My Husband's Sin, due out tomorrow. I was getting hugs too and I love hugs.



Then this afternoon, some of the swag for promoting my book was delivered. I got really excited as I and my writing friend, author Daniel Kaye, worked hard on them. They are gorgeous. So I shall be getting them out over the next few days. My Husbands Sin is coming alive!

On the front is a picture of my fantastic book cover and the blurb from my novel. Then on the reverse is an author bio and links to where it is available to buy, plus my photo of course. It is making it all so real now. Must say I'm nervous.
