ANOTHER NEW TITLE TO ENJOY

It is with great delight that I bring to you dear readers my second novella set in 1800's America. This time it is a romance, with a western feel. I enjoyed writing this book considering all I had to work with was its title DESTINY.

While I mulled this word over in my head,  eventually a man with dark good looks, sitting by a campfire, paid me a visit. It was Charlie. He introduced himself first to me and then not to be outdone, Ahyoka made her presence known. She kept to the background a little, shy but confident. How their paths crossed avoided me until I saw them both in a forest, a cabin snuggled into the trees behind them.
I enjoy researching this time period in American history, as Ahyoka's name is from the Cheroke people, I read up on their history in particular. I already knew about cowboys from researching my first foray in to the western lifestyle in The Runaway.

Now their story is available to read and enjoy. It is on all book sites, the eBook format is now available and the print version is available from July 12th 2016.

Number 13, unlucky for Natasha?

Are you superstitious? Does the number thirteen have you breaking out in a cold sweat? Or does walking beneath a ladder? What about stepping on the crack on a pavement, does it leave you blessing yourselves a hundred times a day? I guess we are either believers or non-believers.
Galway, Ireland
I sort of fall in to the second category, I am not superstitious but I do respect traditions and customs. There is no better place than Ireland for all of the above, we are a country steeped in tradition, custom and superstition. But back to the dreaded number 13!

When my publisher, http://www.tirgearrpublishing.com/authors/Bradford_MaryT/index.htm told me that my romance, One Night in Barcelona, would be number 13 in their City Nights Series, I was not perturbed by it.
In fact I believe 13 to be a good number for personal reasons that some have told me are odd. But it works for me. A story for another time for sure.
But did it work for Natasha Gordon? She is the lady who heads to Barcelona for a getaway break. Was it what she expected? How did the weekend turn out for her?
Was being number 13 in the series unlucky for her? Why not buy your copy and find out did she survive the unlucky superstition for some and help make her weekend to that beautiful city a happy one. Here are the links to help you.

5 Sentence Fiction.

Each week, Lillie McFerrin shares a writing prompt, challenging writers to use the prompt BUT there is a rule. The fiction piece must be only 5 sentences long.
This weeks prompt is VILLAINOUS.
Below is my take on this writing prompt, I hope you enjoy.

I never liked him, he was the most obnoxious, detestable, unpleasant, depraved individual I had the misfortune to meet. Living in the apartment below him was hell, he never cared for my sleeping, always playing wild music until sunrise. He constantly borrowed coffee, cigarettes and even pizza, yes, Pizza! Meeting him on the stairwell, he would grunt as he pushed passed me, not caring if he knocked me to the ground.
It did not stop me from falling in love with him.
